The NWPI Story |
Our Founders Robert & Renee Chamberlain Bob and Renee Chamberlain started Northwest Paranormal Investigations several years ago. Both were interested in learning and teaching paranormal in a safe, intelligent manner. Their experiences along with other club members', have created a strong group foundation. Northwest Paranormal members investigate private homes, businesses, cemeteries, mansions, historical sites, and any place that may be a possible source of paranormal activity. Team members also travel exstensively throughout the Northwest. Members are encouraged to help out in their communities with volunteer work. Some of our volunteer efforts have included the Shanghai Tunnels in Portland and The Oregon Country Settlement, both with the Cascade Geographic Society. Several members have taken a class in cemetery cleanup, learning how to clean and maintain fragile old headstones as well as do general site maintenance. Bob and Renee are dedicated to the ideal of paranormal research being done properly, in a manner which insures the safety of NWPI members and our clients. About Our Members Many Northwest Paranormal Investigations members have had experiences they could not explain. Other members just want to learn more about the paranormal. We, as a team investigate cemeteries, private homes, and businesses. We are interested in what causes paranormal activity. Many of us have taken pictures that show things we just can't explain away. By joining together we have been able to share what has happened with others who have had similar experiences. You will find contained in this web site, information on paranormal investigation techniques, equipment, images, research, resources and more. Northwest Paranormal has really been evolving. Bob and Renee Chamberlain oversee and support the members of Northwest Paranormal. They take an active roll in responding to email inquiries and other club activities. They work closely with our Board of Officers in planning future activities for NWPI. NWPI meets monthly during the spring,summer and fall of the year. Our meetings cover a wide variety of subjects dealing investigations, equipment, software and more. The meetings are held on Saturdays and are usually a dinner type meeting. Each year we have two or three meetings open to non-members. The members of NWPI are here for a wide variety of reasons. However, they are all dedicated to one simple concept, "The truth is in the evidence." Our goal as an organization is to further the knowledge and understanding of the paranornal world. |
