The Leo Tours During the past year and one-half,beginning in August 2008, NWPI's Lecture Team has been busy traveling through eastern Oregon on behalf of LEO, The Libraries of Eastern Oregon. Leo is an organization of libraries located throughout the rural counties of the eastern half of the state, which finances lectures on a wide variety of subjects. Through the lecture grants from LEO the rural libraries, small towns and cities in eastern Oregon are able to provide a wide variety of special programs on a wide range of subjects. Without LEO, these small town libraries might not be able to provide this type activity for their patrons. NWPI is extremely proud to be associated with LEO in providing one of these programs for the libraries of eastern Oregon.At each stop on our tour, we presented a one and one half to two hour program consisting of paranormal terms, introduction to ghosthunter's equipment, research resources and a slide show which included audience participation in reviewing photographic evidence for content.The lecture concluded with Ghost Stories from our founder, Bob Chamberlain and a question and answer period moderated by our Web Coordinator, Charlie Robinson. ATTENTION: Pendleton,Weston, Helix,Adams,Athena and Milton-Freewater: NWPI Lectures are coming to your local library the week of April 26, to May 1, 2010. If you are interested in attending check with your librarian for date and time of the lecture in your town. Also, if any of you have investigative leads or requests please contact us via email at the addresses below or in person at the lecture.If we have not visited your eastern Oregon town yet and you are interested in having us present a lecture, contact your local librarian to ask about the "Ghost Hunters" lectures from NWPI presented by LEO!
