The Baker Pioneer Cementary located in Canby,Oregon is a small and relatively simply designed cementary dating back to the late 1800's.We have always had good success at Baker.

The Klondike Restauraunt located in Old Town,St Helens,Or. is the remnant of the old St Helens Hotel.At one time when St Helens was a major freshwater port on the Columbia River, this hotel was a gathering place for the sailors from the ships. All that remains of this once thriving hotel is one wing, of which only the main floor is in use today.The other wing was destroyed many years ago by fire.
The building has been investigated by many paranormal groups over the years.Many of these investigation have produced images of orbs.The employees of the restaurant also tell of personal experiences,both olfactory and auditory in nature.
Our investigation produced many interesting experiences and photos.

Battery Russell is located at Ft.Stevens State Park in Warrenton,Or. Ft.Stevens was estalished during the Civil War to protect the entrance of the Columbia River from incursion by the Confederate Army. It was an active post until just after World War II.All that remains of this historic fort are the gun batteries and a few buildings.Although much of the post is now only open during daylight hours,Battery Russell is detached from the main post area and is accessible until 10 P.M.
Activity here includes auditory and visual.We captured several orbs and a very interesting ectoplasm during our investigation

Located along the Willamette River in Southeast Portland,Or.,The Portland Mortuary Mausoleum dates back to the early 1900's.It is an eight level complex containing thousands of internments.The vastness of the complex and the dark corridors and beautiful artworks such as stained glass windows and statuary make this an interesting places to visit and a marvelous place to research.We have had several interesting experiences at Portland Memorial Mausoleum.While most of the activity here is auditory,we have ocassionally captured interesting images.The sheer number and diverse nature of the internments makes this an excellent spot for photographic work.(Webmaster's Note:All names on the internments have been hidden at the request of Portland Memorial Mausoleum out of respect for the deceased and their family's privacy.)

Oakland,Oregon is a small southern Oregon town just up the road from Roseburg.It is a pioneer town steeped in the history of a growing state. From it's earliest days to present it is home to generations of families,who still believe in strong community and family values, work hard and know their neighbors well.It is a slice of Americana filled with history and the spirits of those who have gone on.Our investigations here have always been fruitful with data has coming from many different areas in the town.From the old storefronts along the main street to the cemetaries located on a hill outside town, this is a very active location.The residents of Oakland have come to embrace their past and the many usual happenings so well,that they even celebrate Memorial Day with a potluck along side the cemetary.They thereby honor their ancestors by being close to them on this holiday specifically designated for remembering and honoring our dead.

The Tualitin Plains Luthern better known in the Hillsboro,Or. area as the Old Scotch Church is a 130 year old church located in the farmlands surrounding Hillsboro and North Plains,Oregon.The graveyard here contains generations of the families who settled here and helped the area grow and become prosperous.The activity level here is at times intense and investigations of this location are very productive. The activity here includes EMF fluctuations and radical temperature variations, as well as photographic evidence and EVP's.

The Shanghai Tunnels are located under Old Town Portland,Or.and are being excavated and restored by Cascade Geographic Society.In an ongoing investigation of the paranormal activity found there,Northwest Paranormal Investigations is solely authorized to work in and present photographic and other evidence recorded in the tunnels.Tours are available on a regularly scheduled basis.The tours are operated by Cascade Geographic Society and information regarding their website is located on our links page.

The oddities,the weird,the often incorrectly labled: images that are anything but paranormal.From dust orbs to light anomalies that were caused by the slight movement of the camera as the shutter released or by a slight movement caused by the tensing of the photographers' muscles when using a digital camera,these images are more often than any other kind used as evidence of the paranormal....They are not what people would have you believe them to be.The images presented here have been culled from the files of and reviewed by the the investigators of NWPI.We present them as educational in nature and NOT as paranormal evidence.
